Summary
BP Events is a browser-based tracker. Most of the app works without creating an account. By default, your tracker data is stored on your device (in your browser). If you choose to sign in with Discord, we can optionally sync some of that tracker data to our database so you can access it across devices. The only other off-device data processing we use is Google Analytics to understand basic usage and improve the site.
Information stored on your device
To remember your preferences and progress, BP Events stores data in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device unless you clear your browser's site data.
Examples of what may be stored locally:
- Selected region and language
- Theme/accent color choices
- Time display preferences (local/game time, 12h/24h, timezone)
- Event category filters and timeline/checklist completion state
- Optional notification settings (if you enable them)
- One-time onboarding completion state
You can remove this data any time by clearing this site's storage in your browser settings.
Discord sign-in and cloud sync (optional)
BP Events offers an optional “Sign in with Discord” feature. Sign-in is handled entirely by Discord (via their OAuth flow). When you sign in, we store in our authentication system (Supabase): your Discord username, e-mail, an internal account identifier, and a synced copy of your tracker data (the same preferences and progress we normally keep in your browser) so you can access it on another device.
For how Discord handles your data when you use “Sign in with Discord”, see Discord's Privacy Policy.
Analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics to measure traffic and understand which pages/features are being used. Google Analytics may set cookies or use similar technologies and may process information such as your approximate location (derived from IP), device/browser information, and usage events.
Aside from Google Analytics and the optional Discord sign-in sync described above, BP Events does not send your saved preferences/progress to us.

Notifications
If you enable browser notifications, your browser will ask for permission. BP Events stores your notification preferences locally so it can schedule reminders in your browser. You can revoke notification permission at any time in your browser settings.
Third-party links
BP Events links to third-party sites (for example Discord, Ko-fi, and official game resources). If you click those links, those sites may collect data under their own privacy policies.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
